This is the story of Yaakov, 65 years old.
As he is saying good bye to his son and grandchildren who are leaving Israel, Yaakov recalls the moment when being a child, he left his family in Poland 1937. Saying good bye to his mother, a little brother and hiselder sister, Yaakov did not know-and only a long time thereafter did he learn- that that was to be the last time he saw them. Now, in this new parting. Yaakov is overwhelmed by an intense and painful feeling that perhaps he shall not see his beloved again. |
